Product Description and Size Guide

Sandnes Garn correction: charts B and C for sizes 2, 6 and 10 years (in Norwegian)

Children’s cable jumper, knitted top-down with 1 strand of each yarn: Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair Print (version 1A) or Sisu and Alpakka Følgetråd (version 1B). It suits boys and girls alike; each pattern includes both versions. 4 mm needles – tension: 25 stitches = 10 cm.

The back is worked first, down to the underarms. Stitches are then picked up on each shoulder for the left and right fronts, with decreases and increases for the neckline and German short rows for sloped shoulders. The two fronts are joined and worked down to the underarms, then the body is worked in the round in the cable pattern following the charts and finished with ribbing. The sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round, in the cable pattern, and finished with ribbing. The ribbed neckband is folded double to the wrong side. The body and sleeve lengths can be adjusted as you wish.

The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a longer garment.
