Order preparation and shipping
Laine et Tricot commits to shipping ordered items within 24 to 48 hours, once payment has been validated.
Monday to Friday; no shipments on Saturday and Sunday.
Please note during peak season (October to January): orders may take an additional 24 to 72 hours to be shipped.
A confirmation is then sent to the customer via their e-mail address, confirming the shipment of the package and its carrier tracking number.
Delivery times are then dependent on La Poste, Colissimo, and their partners in Europe and worldwide.
Laine et Tricot cannot be held responsible for any delivery problems, loss, or damage to packages that would be the responsibility of La Poste, Colissimo, and their partners.
In case of loss or damage, an inquiry will be made with the carrier; in the event of compensation (according to the service provider's general terms and conditions), it will be remitted to the customer in the form of a credit note or refund.
In the case of a package indicated as "delivered" by ColiPoste, which the recipient claims not to have received, La Poste, in this specific case, shows extreme bad faith and will not under any circumstances acknowledge its responsibility. Thus, it will not grant any compensation, even if it were at fault.
If you wish to add insurance, please request it when placing your order.
The customer can have their order delivered to their home or to a relay point.
Upon receipt of their order, the Customer must check its contents and report any error or missing item within 5 days via the contact form.
Returns of items within the withdrawal period
In accordance with the law, customers can exercise their right of withdrawal within 14 days of their purchase.
They must then return their purchase intact, in its original packaging, at their own expense. Items must have been stored in a non-smoking environment or away from any odors. Incomplete, damaged, or stained products will not be accepted for return, nor will yarns that have been wound into balls at the customer's request.
- If you return your entire order: you will be refunded the total amount of your order (including any shipping costs paid – if shipping was free, only the amount of the items will be refunded)
- If you return part of your order: you will be refunded the amount of the returned items (not the shipping costs)
Laine et Tricot will refund the customer within 14 days of receiving the returned package.
The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for magazines, damaged, used, stained, or spoiled items, and yarns that have been wound into balls at the customer's request.

For residents in France, you can use La Poste's general public rate here https://www.laposte.fr/colissimo-en-ligne.
No returns to relay points are possible; the package will be returned to you.
Returns of items outside the withdrawal period
Beyond the 14-day withdrawal period, if you wish to return items, you have a period of 30 days from the receipt of your package to return part of your order to us.
The items must have been kept in their original packaging, not used or started. The items must have been stored in a non-smoking environment or away from any odors (perfume, humidity, animals,...). Laine et Tricot reserves the right to assess whether the return complies with these criteria and to refuse a return if the items are not in a condition to be resold.
The Customer must return the items at their own expense and may request a credit note or a refund for the amount of the returned items.
No exchanges are possible.
Returns of items due to an error on our part
Should this occur, please contact us, and we will send you an e-mail with a Colissimo return label to print and stick on the package of the returned items – you will not have to pay anything, and we will send you the items that conform to your order.
Please note, you must inform us of any error within 5 days of receiving your package.
Defective items
In the case of a defective item (yarn or needles), please send us an e-mail with a description of the problem and your invoice number.
If a product is confirmed to be defective, we will send you a new item - in most cases, you will not need to return the defective item.
For yarn, the claim must reach us within 5 days of receiving the package.
Pricing Policy
Do not wait for discounts and other commercial offers, Laine et Tricot prefers to offer fair prices all year round rather than increasing its prices only to then pretend a reduction during commercial offers...
