Cable cardigan worked top-down from a chart with 2 strands held together: 1 strand of Alpakka Ull + 1 strand of Alpakka Følgetråd. 4.5 mm needles – tension: 17 stitches and 26 rounds in chart pattern = 10 cm. Notions: 5 buttons.
The back is worked first, with short rows to shape the shoulders. The fronts are then worked with neckline shaping, joined to the back and worked to full length, finishing with ribbing. Stitches are picked up around the armholes for the sleeves, worked in the round. The front bands and neckband are worked last.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a longer garment.
