Sandnes Garn correction (February 2024, in English)
Cardigan worked top-down in Ballerina Chunky Mohair with 2 strands held together. 9 mm needles – tension: 10 stitches = 10 cm. The pattern includes two versions: 2A plain and 2B with striped sleeves.
Begin by casting on the stitches for the back and work back and forth to the bottom of the armholes. Then pick up stitches along each shoulder for the right and left fronts: increases shape the V-neck, and each front is worked to the bottom of the armholes before being joined to the back. Continue working the body back and forth and finish with an edging.
Pick up stitches around the armholes for the sleeves. Work the sleeves in the round, decreasing to taper them, and finish with an edging.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a longer garment.
