Cable cardigan worked top-down with 2 strands held together: 1 strand of Tynn Peer Gynt + 1 strand of Tynn Silk Mohair Print (version 2A) or Tynn Silk Mohair (version 2B). 3 mm and 4 mm needles – tension: 22 stitches = 10 cm. Notions: 3 buttons. The pattern includes versions 2A and 2B.
The back is worked first, down to the bottom of the armholes, then stitches are picked up along each shoulder for the right and left fronts. Decreases and increases shape the neckline, while German short rows (GSR) slope the shoulders. The front bands are worked last in double knitting.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a longer garment.
