Soft, classic children’s jumper with a round yoke and the traditional Marius pattern, knitted top-down in Babyull Lanett (version 2A) or bottom-up in Tynn Peer Gynt (version 2B). 3 mm needles – tension: 27 stitches = 10 cm.
Version 2A: the ribbed neckband is worked in the round, then short rows deepen the front neckline; the round yoke follows the chart, with increases between the pattern borders, then the work is divided for the sleeves, back and front, which are finished with ribbing. Version 2B: the body is worked from the hem up to the underarms and the sleeves separately, then everything is joined for the yoke, with decreases following the chart; the ribbed neckband is knitted last.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a longer garment.
