Children’s raglan jumper with the traditional Islender pattern, knitted top-down in Tynn Peer Gynt (version 3A) or bottom-up in Tynn Merinoull (version 3B). 3 mm needles, plus 2.5 mm for version 3B – tension: 27 stitches = 10 cm.
Version 3A: the yoke is cast on and worked back and forth with raglan increases and stitches cast on for the neckline, then joined in the round following the chart; the work is then divided for the sleeves, back and front. Version 3B: the body is worked in the round from the hem and the sleeves separately, then everything is joined for the raglan decreases. In both versions, the neckband is folded double to the wrong side. The body and sleeve lengths can be adjusted as you wish.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a longer garment.
