Soft colourwork jumper knitted in Kos, with European shoulders and lovely details at the hem: an i-cord edge and a decorative scalloped border. Knitted top-down. 4 and 4.5 mm needles – tension: 18 stitches = 10 cm. The model is 180 cm tall and wears size 1.
Stitches are cast on for the back, worked back and forth with increases for the European shoulders. Stitches are then picked up for each front, and the two fronts are joined into one piece. The back and front are joined and the body is worked in the round to the desired length. Cast off with an i-cord edge, then work the scalloped border. The sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes and the sleeves are worked in the round in colourwork following the chart. The ribbed neckband is worked last. The body and sleeve lengths can be adjusted as you wish.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a longer garment.
