Children’s neck warmer (dickey) in half fisherman’s rib, knitted top-down in Poppy. 5 mm needles – tension: 14 stitches = 10 cm.
Increases are worked to shape saddle shoulders and the fronts on each side. The work is then divided and the back is worked on its own; new stitches are cast on between the fronts, then the front is worked in one piece. The neckband is knitted last, in ribbing, and folded outwards.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a larger piece.
