Short-sleeved cardigan knitted in Double Sunday: a soft, round yarn that gives crisp, well-defined stitches. 3 and 3.5 mm needles – tension: 23 stitches = 10 cm.
You begin with the back, using short rows to shape the shoulders. Stitches are then picked up along the shoulders for the fronts, and the back and fronts are joined to work the body. The sleeves are picked up around the armholes: the sleeve cap is shaped with short rows, then the sleeve is worked in the round. Finish with the front bands and the neckband. The body and sleeve lengths can be adjusted as you wish.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a longer garment.
