Slightly flared dress that flatters many body types, knitted top-down with 1 strand of Sunday + 1 strand of Tynn Silk Mohair (version 2A) or Alpakka Silke + Alpakka Følgetråd (version 2B). Wear it on its own, layered, or with a jumper over it. 3 mm and 3.5 mm needles, 3 mm and 3.5 mm crochet hooks – tension: 23 stitches = 10 cm. Notions: optional thin elastic cord to thread through the straps and edgings.
The left front is cast on and worked back and forth with increases at each side, followed by the right front. The two fronts are joined and worked to the underarms; the back is worked the same way. The front and back are then joined and worked in the round with increases up to the slit. Finish with the edgings on the front and back, armholes and straps.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a longer garment.
