Cardigan with sloping shoulders worked top-down with 2 strands held together: 1 strand of Sunday + 1 strand of Tynn Silk Mohair. 3.5 mm needles – tension: 23 stitches = 10 cm. Notions: 6 buttons.
Cast on the stitches for the back, worked back and forth with short rows and increases to shape sloping shoulders. Stitches are then picked up for the fronts, worked in stocking stitch with neckline shaping. The pieces are joined by picking up stitches around the armholes for the sleeve caps, then the work is divided for the sleeves, back and fronts. The front bands and collar are worked last.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a longer garment.
