Men’s version of the Alvar colourwork jumper, with a timeless look inspired by traditional Norwegian knitwear, knitted in Atlas. Knitted top-down with raglan increases. 4 and 4.5 mm needles – tension: 17 stitches = 10 cm. The model is 189 cm tall and wears size 2.
Begin with the neck, worked back and forth with raglan increases; extra stitches are cast on at the front to make the neckline slightly deeper. The work is then joined and worked in the round, with raglan increases and colourwork following the chart. Once the increases are complete, the work is divided for the sleeves, back and front, which are finished separately. The neckband is worked last. The body and sleeve lengths can be adjusted as you wish.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a longer garment.
