Men’s version of the Astra colourwork jumper, soft in Kos, with European shoulders and a classic style. Knitted top-down and finished with a ribbed neckband. 4 and 4.5 mm needles – tension: 18 stitches = 10 cm. The model is 189 cm tall and wears size 1.
Stitches are cast on for the back, worked back and forth with increases for the European shoulders. Stitches are then picked up for each front, and the two fronts are joined into one piece. The back and front are joined and the body is worked in the round to the desired length. The sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes and the sleeves are worked in the round in colourwork following the chart. The ribbed neckband is worked last. The body and sleeve lengths can be adjusted as you wish.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a longer garment.
