Description
Icelandic wool Einband from Istex is a wicking wool (1 ply); it has not been washed, so it has kept its greasy which will leave with the first washes.
It is a dry wool (unwashed it almost looks like linen!) which will be suitable for knits from 2 to 4.5 in jersey or garter stitch.
When it has been washed, it is a wool that will swell; so if you knit it in 4.5 for example, it will have no problem taking up the space.
As for most "lace" yarns, the sample and the number of needles are to be adapted according to the project.
