2606 DIY / No. 1a Riley Sweater & 1b Pants
Sandnes Garn pattern sheet featuring two matching striped patterns, knitted using Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair held together: the Riley Sweater (1a) and the Riley Pants (1b).
To knit the jumper and trousers set: the yarn kit for this pattern is designed for one item at a time. Choose one of the two items, then add the yarn for the second item to your basket directly from the Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair pattern sheets, using the quantities shown in the tables in this description. A single pattern sheet is all you need: it contains both patterns.
1a — Riley Sweater
The sweater is worked in the round in a stripe pattern, holding 1 strand of each quality together. First, the work is knitted back and forth with raglan increases and increases for the neckline. When the neckline is complete, the work is joined and continued in the round with raglan increases on the sleeves, front and back. When all increases are complete, the sleeves, front and back are worked separately to full length and finished with a folded hem. The neckband is worked last.
The pattern also includes the pattern for Riley Pants.

1b — Riley Pants
The pants are worked from the top down in a stripe pattern, holding 1 strand of each quality together. First, a double waistband is worked with a casing for elastic. Short rows are then worked back and forth to make the pants higher at the back. Stitches are increased for the gusset before the work is divided and each leg is worked separately. The legs are worked in the round and finished with a folded hem. A drawstring can be knitted at the end if desired.
