YAKU is a 100% machine-washable and OEKO-TEX certified merino.
It is a soft wool that will be very suitable for babies and children in particular.

It is easy to knit and crochet, and offers good stitch definition and even knitting.

The spinning mill is in Peru and sources from a manufacturer where 70% of energy consumption is generated by a VESTAS wind turbine.
It also has a wastewater treatment plant that cleans and recycles the water used in production and has also planted a tree plantation around the treatment plant that contributes to the purification process and absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere.

For the good of animals, the spinning mill only works with mulesing-free merino and is OEKO-TEX certified.
