V-neck cardigan worked top-down with 2 strands held together: 1 strand of Tynn Peer Gynt + 1 strand of Tynn Silk Mohair. 4 mm needles – tension: 21 stitches in stocking stitch = 10 cm. Notions: 4 buttons.
Cast on the stitches for the back, worked back and forth with short rows to shape sloping shoulders. Stitches are then picked up for the fronts, with increases for the V-neck and armholes, then all pieces are joined and finished with ribbing. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, worked in the round. The front bands are worked in double knitting.
The amount of yarn is based on the measurements shown. Allow extra yarn for a longer garment.
